The winged frog (Or does he look more like a croc?), resting peacefully on a branch over the water. You rarely see them anymore. The text says: A little frog brings fortune to good friends. The picture was made as a postcard for a friend, quite long ago. Done in watercolours.

He does look like a croc. Like a cute little baby croc with wings. Oh how cute!! Or he could be a baby Dragon I suppose... 1 Ahhhh, just wishful thinking. You say he's a frog, so a frog he is. 2

The colours are lovely, by the way. 2

I don't know what happened to make him look like a croc or a dragon or anything besides a frog! 12"

I thought he was a little lizardy-guy before I read it. I think the leg kinda looks like a tail, frogs dont' really have a head-neck-body they're all kinda squat into one blob of frog lol.

:-) Malin “Silver Wind“ Nilsson replies: "I'll think about that if I ever make a picture like this again."

this is so weird, i'm almost positve that i'd already commented on this, and even some of your other pieces.
did some get lost during the elftown crash(es) or something?
it is so cute, and in some ways i prefer this looser watercolour use. At least it's perfect for this cute and simple piece.
ribbit.

:-) Malin “Silver Wind“ Nilsson replies: "You had probably already commented on this before, I lost a great number of comments in the crash *sob*. But it's great to have you back, thanks for the comment! "

I thought it was a lizard too. I'm very bad at water colores your much much better! I like the purple water it makes the pic look more fantasy like.

:-) Malin “Silver Wind“ Nilsson replies: "Thank you for your comment!"

It's a nce piece and I thought it was baby dragon at first. I think its due to the length that you gave the body. The color use is quite nice with the complementary colors and subtle color change.

:-) Malin “Silver Wind“ Nilsson replies: "Thank you! It's strange really, I actually used a photo reference for this but that didn't help me...I blame the back leg that looks like a tail.Thank you for your comment!"
