I've never read the books, but i've seen interview.
( i want to read the books but my birthday is in march.)
well i counted, and 24 out of the total 33 pics were from the anne rice chronicles.
And all of them were so cool.
( espiacialy the vampire chronicles pics.)

I like that you are doing work for the vampire chronicles, probably my favorite novels ever! I like your Louis, I think in some his hair could go a little longer but otherwise he has a very handsome face. Your Lestat is OK, but it does go perfectly with the book description. Keep doing more, I'd love to see you do some of the scenes with the vampires of the theater, Your work is already very theatrical. keep them coming!

J. Oliver replies: "I'm glad you think my Lestat is "OK"! LOL! I'm not making new pictures for the VC, but I'm still uploading them here and there (I still have loads of old drawings). Sadly, I didn't draw any of Lelio or the Theatre des Vampires while I was doing them... but you never know! Thanks for commenting! ^^"

Everyone has his/her opinion on how THEY see the vampires. The way you draw their hair or physical aspects of their demeanors and so on; what I'm saying is that the bottom line is about respect of the work, and everyone may not see the characters the same way. Everybody has their own interpretations, but what we all have in common is that Miss Oliver,as I've written before, you do an outstanding job with your mastery of art in this medium, and what it all boils down to is how YOU see these characters. You're the one who's workin' the magic here! The rest of us are just along for the ride! WEE!

J. Oliver replies: "Oh yes, I get the occasional person who says my interpretation of the characters is wrong, and I just laugh at them. I used to get angry, but I've since realized that they're just silly people to begin with, ragging on someone for how they interpret a fictional character in drawings. Amazing Gallery over-all!. The only Thing I lament, is the Lack of David Talbot, either in his older or younger form. That's the first reason I searched the VC today. May I request a picture of him? David has grown a place in my heart.

your VC-art is the best I’ve ever seen. I love your version of Lestat and his eyes, even if it’s not exactly how I imagined him, but my favourite pic has to be the one one Maharet and Mekare. the contrast and the detail is extraordinary.
