My second 'facial study' portrait of the Vampire Lestat, this one showing a bit more expression than the first. I wanted to have him smile his mischevious little smile that really makes his personality shine.

I think his flowing hair and the tilt of his head makes him appear a bit effeminate (by today's standards), but I believe it just displays the type of character he is. Men from 18th Century France *were* a bit effeminate.. especially when compared to the ultra-macho emotional detachment that today's men are expected to adopt. Anyways, back then certain 'effeminate' behaviours were considered manly.

I wanted to try showing some expression with this drawing, and to also practise my shading. Drawn with pencil.

Gorgeous, I wish I could do realism so believable of 'characters.' It good to see him being the little Brat Prince he is. I'm used to him 'weeping' all the time.

Yes,this I like it...you’ve made his smile 11 but,why don’t you try to make him younger? He’s just 20 12

That is just so Lestat! Wow, it’s really good. Very inpressive drawing. I think Lestat is incredible hard to draw, but in all of your pictures he looks just the way I want him to look. Your Lestat rocks!

His smile is very seducive...!! (or "seductive"?) Sorry if I made a mistake, I don’t speak English... 17
Anyway, I like this drawing very much, I think you portray him very well! Keep it up! 12
