I first did this picture in Math <g> then transferred it to my sketch book later. I have been expirementing with water dragons and did like this one, not too sure about the the extra fins at the base of the tail though.

Nice interpretation. However, it looks very grainy. Perhaps you could scan them in as a grayscale picture rather than b&w?

Heh I never though I would get comments so quickly <g> well I did scan in on grayscale but I think that's a result of my scales which tend to be really small.

Its funny how many Artists I know draw wonderful piccys like this one during their classes... Maybe I should go back to school, if I would get similar results. Very well rendered watery drake, and it would be nice to see a full scene, the underwater world it and its kin live in! <~~}2~

I clicked on this because I thought it was a real water dragon, you know looks like an eguana but it isn't. Well it was a real wast of time. It was a nice picture though.

The extra fins? I'm sure -- they work (for me, anyway). Perhaps a change in size/shape? A slightly different position, or perhaps in place of the rear legs altogether?
I can see this piece worked into a color version similar to your 'driacorn'

Yours with best wishes, Cinnabardo
