I like the grey tone of the pictures, it stands out from the white. The gryphon't talons are wonderfully drawn, as are his feathers

Heather, thanks for visiting my gallery. Great start on your gallery. You've got a lot of talent. I'd suggest looking at magazines and pictures when you draw. You'd be suprised at how much you can learn from copying a pic.

HEYHOO!!! yer another Eddings lover!!! YIPPEE!!!yer doodle on notepad too!!! Good, dynamic strokes, by the way, and just a tip...I carry around a small A5 size blank memo pad to doodle with...it's handy, and who can resist the temptation of white, pure, blank paper???;D Keep on going!!!

Heather, thanks for the comment to my gallery. I know it was a while back, but it seems I get lost in the duldrums of everyday life and forget about my Elfwood presence. You have a good start here, and I hope you continue to cultivate your skills. My favorite of yours is the Sleeping Guardian. Nice composition, and it actually "says" a lot.

Ah ha, so here you are! So uh, howcome you never showed me this stuff before, huh? Sheesh, kids these days! I really like what you've got up here, especially the sleeping gryphon. You have a good sense of shading. I'd sure like to see more color and some backgrounds too ( but hey, I don't have many backgrounds either, so who am I to talk). Keep drawing & keep posting & I'll see ya later!

Hey Heather, good gallery, I especially like the sleeping gaurdian, for inspiration I'd suggest starting a morge (a big scrapbook of images from magazines etc.) and doodling from that whenever you get the chance and try to draw something everyday no matter what 2
