| 21 Nov 2001 | Unstable Equalibrium <Unst | Oh! you mean you were looking for contructive critism? well I'll dole out a bit I understand that some pictures may be old but I think that for some of your female characters, their heads seem a little squat. I think that you may give them too much forehead and not enough facial area. Also, but this is purely my opinion and should be treated as such, I think that the breasts of some of your female characters are not really proportionate to their body size. and No I'm not saying this because I'm some horny guy but because I think that porportionatly, that's what a female would look like. Moving on. You're 'Tusky' looks something reminiscent of Dalhi. (just don't get too Dalhi cause then you won't be able to post them cause of decency ) I like that sharp style as well as the steam engine Cat. I've got one question though, How did you ink your sergio drawing. I've tried using a bamboo brush (which obviously didn't work but the pic turned out okay) and a traditional inkwell needing pen (with various nibs) but I still can't get the fine distinct lines that I want... care to share a trade secret? I'm going to San Jose State for the animation/illustration program next year, so maybe I'll see ya there. Keep up the great work, Andy! | |
| 29 Jun 2002 | Anne J. Armstrong | WOW! i really like your work here. it is very open, as you said, and simple. yet it fulfills its whole purpose of conveying a picture full of depth and quality to the viewer. i really, really lie your style. i think you have great potential in making it as an animator/cartoonist. uniquely enough, that is my dream too. good luck in college and the future of art! | |

| 3 Feb 2003 | Andrew J Skelton | Not really into art but yours seems quite good. The interesting thing is we share the same name, my "J" is for James. Don't mean to waste your time but these long cold nights in London leave's one with plenty of time on your hands. Have you ever checked out John Skelton's art? A fello Irishman like myself. Anyway keep up the good work. AJS | |
