SciFi and Fantasy Art Curve the bard by Samantha Kroese

This is another picture I did for a friend of mine for Christmas, only this one took FOUR months to finish. I will NEVER EVER do studded armor again. I have to say I'm really pleased with how it came out, this is my friend Jeff's character on Ultima Online. He's a bard, and a heartbreaker. *laughs* Isn't he cute? Curve is of course copywrite his owner, I just got to portray him, I did him no justice but...I have no idea how I did that background but I liked it too much to get rid of it. Someday I'll do real backgrounds..this one was supposed to be green but I liked it better as snow and mist. Drawn in pencil..painstakingly colored in Photoshop 5 (with a MOUSE not a pad...sigh!).

The figure's pose is good and the armor looks nice...pants & face could use a bit more contrast...to better show their details...overall one of your better pieces!
