She turned out to be Artemis, the Ancient Greek goddess of hunt, even though she simply started out as a posing woman with a cresent moon on her forehead. It's done in watercolours, shades of blue, and all-covering white colour (Tip-Ex/Pritt), and then cleaned up (the white areas) in Photoshop. I am open for all, if any, points of information ^^

This is really really nice, one of your best works yet, I'd say. Lovely mood to it, especially how the moonlight falls. One little crit is the dark patches on the moon, if you look at the moon or even some pictures of it you will see that they have very distinctive shapes. One even looks like a rabbit if you turn it upside-down! (With sharp, pointy teeth!!! *giggle*)

18 Anna Skult replies: "*puts two fingers up to her mouth and jabbing at the air with them like they were teeth* ...*does so for a while, all caught up in the thrill of it before stopping, looking around, and then quickly putting her hands behind her back* ...^__^ I'm glad you like it! ...Best works ever? *blush* Sweetly said, thank you =D
Also, I get your point about the moon *nods* Sometimes I get the moon right, sometimes I don't. And always when I make an unrealistic picture in a more cartoony style (like here), I tend to do a cartoony moon aswell >_< ...I will need to work on it. As we like the moon alot *grooves* (http://www.rathergood.com/moon_song/) Thank you for your comments Alia! ^__^ "

21 Anna Skult replies: "Don't make it sound so difficult *gwins* As it's not. I just used different amounts of colour/different amounts of water - light where lighter, darker where dark =P
Thanks for the comment, Annanan! ^^"

*Reads a comment about rabbits and "sharp, pointy teeth" above, blinks, and after a moment cracks up giggling insanely* Didnīt get those jokes about rabbits with "sharp pointy teeth" before, but now I have seen that Monty Pyton-movie.. Hehehe... Canīt....stop...laughing.... XD *Explodes. Ka-BOOM.*

...er. Yeah. Sorry, the insanety above has nothing to do with the picture. ^^; So. The shades of blue with bright white makes mysterious feeling to the picture and to the posing goddess... Interesting that you didnīt do any hair on her, but that probably makes her just look stronger, I think. =/ The moonlight-effect looks very pretty, and the water looks great. Woah. Canīt do water myself to save my life. Nor good humanoid-figures, really. Nor paintings..... o__o; Very good work, I say.

11 Anna Skult replies: "Ani: As far as I know, you do great paintings, if I may say so ^_^ And bunnies with big, sharp, pointy teeth have everything to do with everything! *nods knowingly* And everyone should see Monty Python's "The Holy Grail", and understand silly things about rabbits. And such. Anyway ^-^ Gosh, your comments are wonderful! Now that you mentioned her not having any hair, I realise just how "unusual" it is. It came naturally when I drew her, and I guess it suits the goddess of hunt pretty well... But yes, thank you very, very much for commenting, Rea! =) "

I think that it is very very well done and i can't bellieve that you used water colors! The thing that i think that i like the most is the cresent moon on her forehead. It is a nice touch. I am just wondering... Why is there no hair on her? Anyway, thanks for "helping" me with the homework!

2 Anna Skult replies: "Ani: There is no specific reason behind her baldness. It's just a superficial play on the stereotype that bald women are stronger than women with long flowy hair =) Thank you for your comment, Luna!"
