Would she sing, her voice would feel like a sudden, but blessed,  burning warmth in the cold. She is beautiful. I dare say; more beautiful than the elves. For the elves cannot grasp the essence of her being - the beauty that can be found in one fleeting moment - for they are bound by the beauty of eternity. She dies as soon as she's been born. Those that appreciate her existance, need not seek her, for she is with them each moment.

This is a small picture, though it took me a couple of days to finish, mostly because I was unsure about the colour-palet. ^-^ Had a bit of a struggle getting her proportions looking alright, but I'm happy with how everything turned out in the end. My personal favorite bits on this piece are though: the three rocks in the foreground, and the hem of her dress (a product of desperatly trying to make the hand hold the dress, when I had already inked the hand and the dress to the point where the folds start).
The ironic thing about this picture is, though, that it started out to be a huge landscape-in-daylight-with-a-little-stream-and-some-mountains-in-the-background -picture. Funny how things turn out, nyah. ^^

Medium: Watercolours over ink outlines.

*First comment dance* Beautiful. I love the colours, the birds in the background and the comic strip style.

I like the style of this work - clear lines and pure colours. Crimson dress is an eye-catcher^-^

18 Anna Skult replies: "Ani: Here the crimson symbolises both her warmth and her instant birth and death, which still stays with you for a long time - due to crimson being an eye-catcher =D ...Thanks for commenting!"

Oh my! A picture I haven´t seen before! Have I really missed this one? (Or then it´s just a long time ago I were here checking out your stuff.. yeah. Probably.) But this is just so lovely. It sort of calms me down. The effect of the colors and her carriage gives this picture peace. I like that!

1 Anna Skult replies: "Annan: ...! Well yes, there's quite a peaceful atmosphere going on, I suppose - I'm glad there's atleast some kind of feeling being conveyed ^_^ I'm glad you like it, and thanks for writing a comment, Annannananan! *hugs* And now to see what's new in your gallery 12"

Oh,this is so good! I would like to buy a dress like that. Will you sell this one 12?

:-) Anna Skult replies: "Actually I don’t think it’d be too difficult to sew a dress like this, hm ^^ Thank you for you comment!"
