"Butterflykitty" by Anna Skult

This is picture depicting a red cat, with some lovely butterflies. I made it for my grandmother (mother's mother). Therefore it's special in that aspect, but otherwise it's made in a pretty typical-for-me style, I suppose. I enjoy making these kinds of pictures, that are just... well.. that just -are-. I used references for the butterflies, and for the kitty's pose.  ...I like it, though. ^-^ In each cloud there's a butterfly hidden, by the way (see, as I first made a bunch of small white butterflies in the background, realized it made the picture too busy, and made them into clouds instead =).

Medium: Watercolours, white acrylics, waterproof ink (which I discovered not to be waterproof if you apply it to a coloured surface, and think you can wash it over).
