Your work and the models in them are beautiful. However the sparkles or stars or what ever they are throw me off in such numbers. A little sparkle is good but i think you get a little carried away 1 Either way, splendid job.

Your gallery is stunning - every model is beautiful, and I love how you make them all a little inhuman, by softening their figures and adding sparkles. That takes these compositions into the realm of true fantasy. Keep up the marvelous work - you have true talent!

I happened upon this gallery of yours, and find it amazing. I mean, it's wonderous how with a few pasted on wings, a little color overlay, and some tubed sparkle PORN can somehow be viewed as art. I do not expect you to read this comment and suddenly have a change heart, or start crying in your milk of magnesia about how you took advantage of young girls. I simply commented for my own piece of mind. Thank you.

Marion, I have to give you the award for the bravest artist on Elfwood *hands award*... I think that your gallery is full of beautiful artwork, and some very brave models.

About people saying that you are not professionally trained... not many elfwood artists are trained. I'm not. I didn't even do art for GCSE... I have no qualifications at all... although I'm not as good as a photomanipulatist as you though seeing as I only have one pic ^^

You are a talented artist and should never give up your art ever. It's beautiful and terrific.

I've looked through your entire gallery and I absolutely loved everything. I feel like a lot of people take a photograph and alter one or two things about it and it's cool, but what you've done here is truely art. You're amazing! I want one of myself...... 12

Skydancer replies: "I normally look at my photography, which is my own original work in most cases, unless I am working with someone that is simply too far away for me to personally photograph them, as the canvas for the image. So rather than the photograph being the final work, it is a starting point and a way of bringing some cohesion to the concept. Since I rarely try to put messages in my work, it is instead all about what I see in the subject, and is shaped by the spirit and the interaction with the personality and nuttiness in many cases of the person that is modeling for me. They are the source of the image, and I just try to show the unseen parts of what I see when I work with them.Much appreciation for your support and enthusiasm.Thank you. "

I too am impressed with your work. You don't just take a photo and manipulate it, you create an image with the tools at your disposal - all of them. You have a great ability to tell a story with the wave of your hand (and some helper fairies), and a look on your face. To get such cohesion in a piece is hard enough, but a much harder feat is to do it with many different pieces of time and space. I will be watching you *bows deeply*

I would love to have some of these as prints. Especially "Astara as Isis" (which I got off of another website). You have an unusually strong ability to convey your images as though you were a poet that can draw. Have you ever considered attending a scifi con?
