The second panel of Airborne, my sequential art piece in which a gryphon jumps off of a cliff.  Here, the gryphon is depicted in mid-jump with the wings coming down.   I will admit upfront that there was some inspiration for this piece that was derived from Mie "Stormwing" Bendiksby's drawing Free (see here --> http://www.elfwood.com/~stormwing/Free.3256519.html <--).  Drawn in Prismacolor ebony pencil on 8 x 8" Bristol board.

I like the clouds - random I know, but they look good.
