In the shadow of the temple,

In the darkness under the light,

The holy vigilance o'erhead

Protects us humans in the night.

The sanctuary above strife

Guides us through our mortal life.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In reality, this picture is quite large.  Done entirely in ink (no room for mistakes there >_<).  This pic won me Best-in-Show for 2-D at a local high school art competition.  What a way to end a senior year, eh?

:-) Kate Sky High Frana replies: "^_^ thanks! I got that part figured out from doodling around with your average 10 cent pen and learned how to shade with it, then I drew the parts I wanted lighter in pencil and shaded around it with the pen. it was a bit tedious, but WELL worth it! ^_^"
