Wowee, what to say... I guess I can start with how art has always been a major part of my life. I was drawing on walls with the side of a penny when I was old enough to hold it, and I would always try to keep up with Bob Ross on TV with crayons... lol, true story. Now I'm into just about any form, kind, or shape of art, and plan to continue it when I go off to college. I'm aiming for an Illustration major and Creative Writing minor in hopes to someday become a graphic novelist (at least, I hope that'll happen. I can't imagine doing anything else with myself!). Until then, here I am, writing random stuff on a page next to nobody will see... If you took the time to read this, thank you and love you lots!

Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Movies and TV ShowsAVATAR!!! How to Train Your Dragon, The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, just about anything Disney, (does The Dark Knight count?) Interview with a Vampire, the Moulin Rouge, Repo: The Genetic Opera, and other musicals, Oh, definitely Trigun, D.Gray-Man, Gurren Laggen, Bleach, and Iother good anime (too many to count, darn those streaming-anime websites!). Supernatural, Star Trek, Firefly, Angel, Buffy (anything Joss Whedon, really),
Favorite Fantasy/Scifi BooksThe Inheritance Cycle, The Mortal Instruments Trilogy, The Infernal Devices series, Mercedes Lackey's incredibly detailed books, Harry Potter, Guardians of Ga'Hoole, Avalon: Web of Magic, Deltora Quest, the Last Dragon Chronicles (how old am I again? O_o), 1984, Brave New World, Lois Lowrey's The Giver and Gathering Blue, and Dean Koontz's books (they're kinda sci-fi, right?), The Wheel of Time series. . . Definitely NOT the Twilight books though. I love vampires and all, but that book bored me to tears (brutal honesty there for ya... -_-' ). For manga, Trigun (and Trigun Maximum), Chrono Crusade, Aventura, Element Line, D.Gray-Man, Akira Himekawa's renditions of the Legend of Zelda, Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles, etc., etc., etc....
Favorite MusicRock all the way, man! I do like other stuff, though, like electronica, oldeez, pop, jazz, classical, and musicals. Country's okay in moderation, but I have a low tolerance for most rap... Top 5 favorite (current) bands/musicians in no particular order? Tool, Owl City, (<-funny juxtaposition there...) The Birthday Massacre, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin. Top 5 classic/oldies? Journey, Billy Joel, The Beatles, Jackson Browne, and Metallica.

| 11 Feb 2010 | Jennifer Suzanne Steier | Loading...I like your first 3 pieces, Dream, Sanctuary, and Skystar. Not a fan of the other two, your Vysadus is so impersonal and flat, and the Demon one too murky... I think you should stick with your handcrafted pieces rather than going digital, because that castle is simply stunning... and thats no small compliment... I hate angles... that must have taken hours and hours, but its beautiful, Namaste, Creator! Kate Sky High Frana replies: "Well, thank you for your honesty. ^_^ The reason Vysadus looks so flat and impersonal is because I attempted to do it on Microsoft Paint, and I wanted to put up as much as I could on my beginning gallery. I’ll probably take it out later. Also, "Treacherous Demons" IS a bad scan, and I’ll have to replace it with a photo or something
But really, thank you! Constructive criticism is always welcome. ^_^" | |
