Tag As FavoriteComment		Acrylics on masonite. 20 X 24 in. This woman is not aware yet that there is something horrible happening behind her back.... Is it a stealth attack of space monsters? Or maybe a natural disaster? I wish I knew .... This painting was used as a cover for the Program Book of POLCON 1995 (Polish National SF Convention).

The wiew is great but in my opinion it doesn't really need the woman. Otherwise excellent job.

Indeed that background is breathtaking! No wonder it's a book cover. As for the woman, she vaguely reminds me of "Pretty Woman" in facial expression and hairstyle. She does need a little more work, but in mho not too much. Just more work on the skin hues and shading, to bring her out as much as the background, make her more 3D. All in all you have an excellent piece here!

Great pic! The woman's right hand has 5 fingers (not counting the thumb) though.

The woman is fine. I really like the bonsai plant though, it is simple and brings out the complexity of the background. This reminds me of a book I read called Alien Secrets by Annette Curtis Klause. In this book everyone sees hyperspace differently and your picture reminded me of this. Fantastic work.=^..^=

OMGSPLOSIONWTF??? oh dear god SPACE TORNADOES. whats with the girl though, she looks almost drugged. its almost like she doesnt notice her ship is about to start swirling and then kill her in a blender-like setting. preferably liquefy.
