Try to trace pictures of people in different poses, like of your fave actors and actresses so you get the feel of drawing better. Hope you will to get offended  I think the blond head doesn't looks dead.. the mage - warrior fingers are kinda too small and flat.. The good thing: I think the whole pic is looking good, I really like how you had drawn that robe and really good coloring and shading! I love the mages facial expression - evil,serious and determined - very good job with that, and the pose is well done too.
