This dragon represents the element water. It's a drake like the firedragon and he can as good fly as he can dive. About the background I better lost no word, I know, that the sunrise looks like the spotlight of an UFO.

Hey cool! The background intrigues me. What did you use to do this piece, Acryllics?

12 Sascha Meyer replies: "No, I prefer oil colours, don't know why, but I never tried to paint with acryllics! I've just a good feeling by using oil and can't imagine, that I feel the same with acryllics! Stupid, I know (it's a bit like this Siemens/Nokia thing: you use one and hate the other!)."

1 Sascha Meyer replies: "Thanks for the vote, Jenna!!! The medium is oil on canvas without any computer "modifications".Sure you can have a ride! The last "short" trip takes just one week and the rider was a bit, uhm, exhausted, but happy! "

I liked all of your pictures but THIS is a cool dragon!The shading, the texture of the water and on the wings/scales, and the clouds are marvelous (I can't draw backgrounds to save my life).
