Sascha Meyer

Okey, my bio (where is a ghostwriter when you need him?). Well, there is not so much to say about me: I'm something about 20 Years old, male, human and live in Hannover, Germany. Before I start painting dragons I saw a oilpainting made by Jeff Easly. He called it "Dragon Duel" (it is still one of my favorites!) and it inspired me to paint my own dragonpictures. The first tray was... I better don't talk about it. To create own paintings is really not as easy as to copy a picture of an artist. Now, I'm still learning and my pictures are not as ugly as the first ones. Okey, the backgrounds are looking a bit ... strange but I work on them. Cause I have a fulltime job in the real life I can't spend so much time for painting as I want and that is the reason why it takes so long untill I have finished a picture: from the first sketch to the final oilpainting it can takes one year, so you can see I work really slooowly (a repro will be finished earlier). While paintig dragons is my first passion, my second one is drawing my characters and handouts of RPGs I playing. I'm also interested in everything that contains fantasy (Elric of Melnibone, wheel of time and so on).

Well, I think I bored you enough about me. If you have any questions about my art you are welcome to contact me. But please imagine that english is NOT my first languade so it can takes a time (not a year I promise) until I answer your mail. And yes, I'm free for art commissions.

 Last but not least my special thanx goes to Anna-Maria for the support, and Melanie for her technical help (she really knows how photoshop works. I will never do that like she does).
