The reason is because you do such a good job on your highlighting that in reverse is successfully switches the light source. When you do that it changes the temperament and mood of your subject and puts more emotion into when the light is from the ground making it appear as being larger. You have done a very good job and I love them.

Well, it's lacking a few joints, but there's so many artists out there that give their dragon wings no muscle whatsoever that it makes me wanna cry. When I find someone who actually DOES do it right, it makes me wanna cry too (sob!). Great big wings with plenty of detail - very good. Methinks the pic doesn't look to crisp though. That's prolly the scanner, but if you fix it up (if you can, lol) it'll look a whole lot better, I'm sure cheese! Laura Marie Campbell replies: "I've been meaning to update this pic since I got myself a scanner! Thanks for reminding me. *updates* And thanks for the comments of course. The drawing itself is pretty small (it could fit 'in the palm of my hand'), so I'm surprised I got so much detail into it at times."
