	I grew up surrounded by images of "traditional Santa", not the guy in the red suit. The traditional Santa always looked like a wizard to me with his long fur-trimmed robes and gnarled staff. I still prefer traditional Santa and wanted to draw something Christmas-y for once, although he really doesn't look all that Christmas-y.

27 Feb 2010	Jeanette M Thomas	Loading... By "traditional Santa" - presume you mean the images of Father Christmas found in many nations. I used to collrct FC figurines and far prefer them to jolly old St. Nick. Yours is a wonderful Christmas Wizard. Siseline - Always wondered why Hogwarts celebrated Christmas since they weren’t "Muggle Christian" as such - and if they did why no Father Christmas? Dumbledore would have made a good one.
