I also thought it was time to paint a mermaid.  I don't paint nearly enough mermaids!

i adore her. i love her eyes, how they’re beautiful but a little creepy. and i love the hint at broken ships in the background. she seems beautiful but lethal, always a good quality in merfolk! 12

not sure why i have not commented on this before now. this is soooo very good. i love the colouring of it, and the shipwrecks in the back ground are a great touch. also her eyes are a touch. love how they are not the typical eyes-add a great deal of depth to the picture. great job and ideas.
