My own watercolor rendition of the infamous green fairy of absinthe.  This was my third watercolor painting, and I am pretty proud of how it turned out.  She was purchased the day I finished her, within two hours of my listing her on eBay.  Yikes!

Congrats on such a quick sell ! She is very pretty ...love the hair and her face ...and the colors are so right ! I want to learn how to do watercolors...but I am afraid at this point " you can’t teach an old dog new tricks " ! Oh yeah...first comment whoopiii...whoooohoooo !!!

How beautiful i like your soft way of using colors. she looks innocent and yet tempting. I love fairies so much, if i would be one i’d like to look like her.

i really like these green spots on her skin, and her gaze is kind of rebellic, i like that, too2! i love how you’ve mixed so many colours into her hair, it looks brilliant! and the dark green stuff on her top is cool, too2!

Ah.. green, hard for me not to comment. 12 Would be nice to see more of the wings and she is indeed pretty, although there is something about the hair and face that bothers me a little. Perhaps it’s the roughness and inconsistency with the contrast shown elsewhere in the image. But good stuff, all the same. ~#G
