Catherine Moore wrote tons of short novels about Mars.. One of them was called 'Daughter of the Minga' in which an horror story was told about the Minga, an impregnable fortress where the most beautiful women were literrally bred and trained. The Daughters of the Minga were reknown for their beauty, musical talents and dance skills.. Of course, the truth was a different story ... Anyway, i wanted to draw something funny, very elongated, non human.. I was more looking for graphic design than anatomy, for sure :) Just for fun ;p

Or Northwest Smith at the Tree of Life? Sophie 'SoMK' M.Klesen replies: "You know, I'm really happy to see another fan as well As a matter of fact, I've always wanted to illustrate C.Moore's novels and especially Shambleau or the Northwest Smith other stories.. Bah, I'll find time here and there. The one I'd REALLY love to illustrate nonetheless, is not a Moore's story.. it's a Leigh Brackett's trilogy : Skaith. What an amazing book !!
