Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "It's just some small programs. I used virtualdub to cut out exactly one turn of the figure and to convert it into another video codec. Then I used Jasc Animation Shop 3 to turn it into a gif. "

Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "Yes I carved it from one piece of stone. That's great fun! I'd like to do more of those. But it takes so much time and busy as I usually am... Well, about the movement: My father has a digital camara that I borrowed. I put it on a circling plate and filmed it, and then I turned this film on my computer into a moving gif and cut it the way that it forms an endless loop. "

Esther S. Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "Thank you Sharon! It took some time to finish I can tell you. ;-)"
| 3 Dec 2004 | Ally | Loading...Lol I couldn't keep staring at it. This is so great. Perfect sculpture, and you can look at it on all sides Nice dragon, spinning around ... getting me dizzy... Esther S. Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "Thank you Ally! It was a bit tricky to get this animated gif together. And I'm not content how most browsers handle it. It should look absolutely fluent, with no breaks or slow turn phases... Anyway, it's a better way to show the sculpture than just by photographs, I think. " | |

This one doesn't get many comments. The thumbnail does not look very appealing, I guess. But I am quite proud of this little piece of stone carving. "
