Autumn 2003 - 21cm x 17cm - Coloured pencils

Everybody's favorite is back: A new picture of a Golden Songgryphon! This time a bit sleepy on a pumpkin. And with a thicker fur than on the first pic. It's November, it's getting cold after all, and some of those little fellows don't fly to the south like the Field- and Mountain Songgryphons but stay here during the winter.

It kinda gives you an idea of how small the songgryphons really are. Especially when they're right next to grapes and playing with them, no less. Esther S. Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. HOW CUUUTEE!!!" comments yet! ;D Love the oloring on the pumpkin, the songgryphon's expression reminds me of a little kitty cat sleepin' in the sun. Esther S. Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "Thank you Jenny! It's been just a sketch for another oil painting that I coloured quickly with pencils because I liked it. I guess the oil painting will be better though."

I have quite some pics in progress, but school or rather the publisher-hunting for my book is eating my time away. This one was done in coloured pencils. I must admit I have no idea what prismacolors are. Maybe a brand of coloured pencils? If so it could be..."
