This is a drawing I did for the recent Elfwood decoration contest. However, I sent a coloured version of this picture to Thomas. It was inspired by a cool commercial poster hanging around in Frankfurt, Germany lately: It shows a delicate butterfly on the falconer's glove. I was fascinated by that idea from the very first sight ...

23 Mar 2007	Kharmii	Loading... The details are nice, but I'm impressed by the composition. Even though the focus is at the top, it isn't top heavy and balances out perfectly. Nice work on the delicate fairy wings. Esther S. Brendel (Maiden name: Esther S. Wetzel) replies: "Thank you very much. I have never looked at the picture this way. The composition was mostly given by the design of the Elfwood page, since I drew the picture for the Elfwood decoration contest. That is why most of the design is placed in the upper part."
