I love the combination of reddish orange and lightblue, and that's the only reason why I painted this.

You did very well on this. Her tail looks very reallistic. Not that mermaids are real, just very real looking with the fish scales. But I kinda think you should have given her a different color hair. I mean, the red is pretty, but it makes me think that you were trying to make her look like Ariel. Good job though. 12

I would have liked to have seen her as a blonde. Personally, I think that blonde mermaids can easily outshine all the other kinds. (This is true with people, as well)12

Very nice work! And I am SO glad to see such a lovely womanly redhead mermaid instead of an anorexic blond! My wife Lynn(purple dragoness) has auburn hair and is a full figured real woman(no synthetic components!) So your mermaid is both beautiful and serene to me. I like the addition of the doves too, adds a very tranquil feeling to the picture.
