This recntly finished picture is of a vessel that was originally designed while messing around with some lego! I thought it fit the bill perfectly for the E.N.V. Orion; a heavily refited 'Strike' class titan battleship that serves as the base operations for Section 12; the 'black-ops' party in my rpg. The refit has meant less offensive weaponry than other ships of its class, but it has much more powerful engines, as well as a shadow field that allows it to fool all but the most advanced sensors into thinking it's an asteroid! These modifications ensure that the team can get to critical locations throughout the Human Empire whenever Section 13's unique talents are required. To give an estimate at scale; the Orion is one kilometer long!

I love the color variation and the details must have taken for ever to do just rite. The starship rox it is one of the coolest starship drawings I have seen in quite a while.

The colours! The degradé effet! *do you actually say "dégradé?" anyway* Really good colours and lighting. It seems so smooth and real, with the clouds, the sky *duh*, the moon, the atmosphere...I don't usually go in for spaceships, but this makes it so real, so unique... *Cringing as she thinks of HER having starter's difficulties with Photoshop whilst some person is making masterpieces...*

one thing bothers me... y is there a sun set when it is in outer space?!?! i meen if u think of it, it realy doesnt make ANY sence...

other than that i think u did a GREAT job! the detail is incredible and i love the sun lol, as for the lense flare... i dont know much about them but shouldnt the circle at the top right not b there.. cus it should kinda b in line right? o well thats just me. this i think would be a great desktob background.

o and congrats on mods choice, a WELL deserved mods choice!

Ship looks pretty good.
If you can, don't use presets unless they do exactly what you want. They are good as starting points to work from. This is true for any 3d app. You don't have to go cold turkey from Bryce, can model stuff in Max and load it into Bryce. Use Bryce textures for Max or to enhance Max textures.

Reminds me of Halo.

AAAH LOVE IT, can u give me some hints & tips, how to draw in perspective? I suck in that, for example, how many disappearance points u used on this ship and if something goes to the viewer or from it, how do u know where to stop for the length? I don't know that stuff... XP... greets Stanleymes XP

Looks very nice. The sun setting background does throw it off. And the ship reminds of ship 'O'Niell' on the show Stargate SG-1.

Nice work! I use Bryce also and have made several starships of my own. I have been a Star Trek fan since I was a kid and some of work reflects that. By the way, the sunset background, way cool! Mark~
