"Final Chapter" by Sparky A Taranto

As she is reading over the letter again, she hears a tapping on the window. She turns to look out the window and there is Sparky, standing out side the window, on the 5th story. She walks over and opens it but she is speechless. I once again said I will be back and I gave her a little button-like-control. I told her "If there was a emergency and you needed to get hold of me than you could push the button and I will be there as fast as I can." She looked out and noticed that I was wearing my hover board. We looked in each other eyes, kissed and I flew down to my hummer. As I was about to get in, I saw a huge robot coming toward me, flying. Suddenly, it shoots a missile toward Kayleen’s room and blows the wall away. It fly’s over, reaches in and grabs her. As I start to hook up my board, the robot looks over and shoots a missile at me. I dive out of the way, just missing it. It takes off flying where it came from. I run to the truck, pull out a rocket launcher and aim it at him as he is flying away. I am about to shoot when I thought I might hurt Kayleen. I got back into the hummer and tried to keep with the machine but it adventually flew over some tree’s. I stopped, leaned out the window, blew away the tree’s with the launcher but they had disappeared. I went back to the hospital, and went inside. There were police there by than and were looking over the room. I looked around and I noticed that the emergency button I had given her was not there. I headed back to my truck and sat there thinking. All of a sudden, the tracking device started going off(means she pushed the button) and her signal was moving west. I started the truck up, spun the tire’s and headed to Lee’s house.(Lynn and Lee were there) I stopped on there lawn, ran inside ad a minute later they come running out with me. We all jump into my hummer and take off, west. We caught up to the signal and it was a huge spaceship like device, flying threw the air. I turned the truck and dropped the guys off at the police station. I gave them a bomb I had been working on and told them to go in the police helicopter and in 70 min. drop the bomb on the space ship. They got out and I caught up to the space ship again. I pulled off the road, grabbed some weapons, and flew up to the ship. I landed on the top of the ship and secured my board and boots to the ship. I found a entrance that was sealed up until I blew it away with some plastic explosives. Before I go in, I wait outside and than 2 guys run outside to see what happened. I grab them both and throw them over the sides. I go inside ands start running threw the halls. I look into some rooms but no Kayleen. I take some guys out with a silencer the whole time until I come the cockpit door. I bust open the door, and look around. I see no one in there except Kayleen tied up on the opposite side. As I walk toward her I hear the hissing of a door opening above me. I look up and the robot that I saw before, fly’s down in front of me. "Greetings Mark Taranto" the robot says. "What/Who the hell are you and how do you know my name?" I ask. "Surly you remember me...Sparky. I am the person you killed 15 years ago, Razor." he said. "But you can’t be Razor because I saw the truck blow up and I was tolled that nobody could have survived it." I said. "No BODY could survive it, but luckily, loyal followers found my dead body and were able to preserve my Brian. Than they had this body made. I like it much better than my human body because it is much more capable off destroying you!!" he says as he raises his arm (Arm with chain gun) and starts to fire at me. I reach into my backpack and pull out a huge smoke bomb and set it off. I grab Kayleen, and run out of the room. I untie her and I tell her to hide in one of the empty rooms. I give her a gun, and run back into the cockpit. The smoke is almost clear and Razor starts shooting at me again. I pull out a AK-47 and start firing it at Razor. We keep firing toward each other until I run out of bullets. As I reach into my backpack he shoots a rocket at me and the explosion happens right next to me. The force blew me away and throws me against the wall. I pull out a grenade and throw it at Razor. It explodes right on the gun and blows it to pieces. He looks at his hand and suddenly the broken up gun, enters his arm and when it returns, it is a diamond blade chainsaw. Stunned, I once again open fire but this time with a .22 shooting slugs at him. Not really fazing him, he runs over and tries slicing at me. I dodge it, think, look at my watch and than run over to the control panel, and stand there shooting at him. He runs over again and I stand there. He raises his chainsaw and drops it down hard over my head. I dodge the saw and it comes down onto the control board shooting sparks all over the place. Thinking that he is done, I get Kayleen and we head toward the exit. Still having 10 min. before the guys come, I start to hook up the board and suddenly Kayleen notices Razor walking out, his chainsaw hand now has a long whip hanging out. In the real looking hand, he has a gun. I reached over to open a nearby door, just in time to dodge a shower of bullets he was shooting at us. Knowing there was little time, I said "Kayleen, get on the board and get down to safety. If have to keep him her until Lee and Lynn get here." She says "But I can stay and help". "I don’t want to take any chances. I might not even make it out." I say. I notice that she has the board on so I pick her up and throw her out. I watch and see that the board starts up and she fly’s down to some docks (Near land, just about to head over water). I turn around and suddenly Razor kicks the door away. I jump toward him, pull a hidden knife that was on my back and jam it into his gun. He throws the gun away and swings the whip at me. He catches my arm, wraps around it, and he throws me against the wall. I pull out another knife and cut the whip. As I unwrap it from my wrist, there is blood all over my arm from the whip cut. His whip hand, once again returns into his arm and this time it is a regular hand. He comes over, grabs me on the shoulder and throws me near the exit. I glance at my watch. 60 sec. left. he comes over and puts me into a bear hug. He starts laughing and squeezes harder. 30 sec. left. 20 sec left. I lift my legs, put them against his chest, and use the rest of strength. I am able to pry them out and I slip threw his arms. I reach into the almost empty backpack and pull out a grenade. I jump up, and stick the grenade in his armor, dropped kicked him back and ran to the door. I tuned around and said "Hey Razor. This time, stay dead" I grab a parachute that was near the exit and run out. His body explodes as I get onto the top of the ship. I see the helicopter right above me and suddenly the bomb is dropped. I jump into the air and start falling. When I am about 40 feet away from the craft, the bomb explodes. The parachute was open and when the explosion wave hits me I am still about 30ft above the water. The parachute tangles up so I start falling. I am able to take the chute off and dive into the ocean. I see the ship on fire starting to head for the water. When it hits, I start swimming toward the shore. There is a huge wave that I get caught in and it throws me onto the land. (Wave from ship hitting water) I am out of breath, gasping for air as I stand up. Police cars drive up and in the front car, is Kayleen. She runs over and helps me to a nearby ambulance. They drive me to another hospital. The next day, the doctor says I am going to be fine. Later that day, Lee came in and said "Your hummer is in the parking lot, but I really don’t now why you wanted it here." "Lee" I said "You actually think that I am going to stay here. This place gives me the creeps. I am going to sneak out and hit the road. There is some things I got to take care of. By the way, tell Kayleen.." "Tell Kayleen what?" says Kayleen, walking in the room. Lee walks out as she walks to my bed. "Tell Kayleen what?" she repeats. "Well, I wanted to have Lee say good-bye for me. I never was very good at saying good-byes and I didn’t want to say it to you in person. It is hard enough for me as it is." "But why do you have to go?" said Kayleen. "I do not want to risk being around you or anybody else I care about in case there are any other followers of Brian or Razor. Don’t worry, I will be back" I say with a smile.

I turn to look out the window and I see Lynn driving up in my hummer by my request. I look at her again, give her one more kiss and hug, turned around, waved to her and got into the hummer. After one last glance at Kayleen, I started it up and I drove off into the night. About a second later, Lee, Lynn and there wives come in and said "The nurse was wondering were Sparky was." She just smiled and said. "He’ll be back." she said with a smile, looking out the window, watching him drive away. As she turns back to her friends everybody wonders when he will return.
