Anyway, the composition of this piece is nice-it's ALWAYS a good idea to keep more bluish tones in the back and more yellowish tones in the front. Ie, for an orange, green, yellow, or red pic, use a purple or blue background. It's a lot easier on the eye and "reads" better as positive space. You should try working on a larger scale with watercolor, using broad, flat strokes instead of trying to do tiny details. Detail in watercolor can drive you nuts! Saskia H.
