| 29 Dec 2007 | Cilissa G. Harris | Loading...Dang. I love that sitting griffin. I’m just trying to practice my winged animals. I am about to up load a winged wolf. I love your wings. Jelousy is over coming me. WOW! Deffinantly waiting impatiently for more work. Keep it up. Very good! Jan Torjus Ødeskaug replies: "You’re really jealous? You flatter me! I have to take a look at your gallery too. And I don’t think you have to wait for too long for more work, I’m currently working on a couple of drawings I’ll upload as soon as possible. " | |

I must say - I like your work, but there are some slight anatomy errors in your drawings. If I were you, I’d google up some headshots of birds of prey and draw them as precisely as you can. After a few days, it’ll do wonder to your art! I’d also reference claws, talons, lion bodies and the like - no offense, only a tip. Anyway, I like your art, especially your wings, and I see potential here! Keep it up! Og bare sånn i farta - du skriver også på en fantasyroman? Og den har med griffer å gjøre? Flotters - det er altfor, ALTFOR få fantasybøker som inneholder griffer! Det norske folk må opplyses om griffenes eksistens! Lykke til med skrivinga di - håper for all del boka slår igjennom! Jan Torjus Ødeskaug replies: "Thanks for the comment! While yes, I do realize I’ve got some anatomy errors, and I’m always open to anything that can make it better. I got a couple of pictures of eagle heads and I see the beaks I draw are a tad too big Though I like it this way. In another case, Scythia, is her eyes; I told a friend from the Netherland who critiqued my work that I didn’t want the "sinister and creepy eyes" that eagles got, so in her case I changed it to something softer, and hopefully, more feminine to tell that she is in fact, a she. But, to bash myself, I am thinking of changing the entire humanoid arm thingy to a more animalistic type. And as a last word on this ridiculously long reply; You also know of NeonDragon! Awesome!
PS: Enig i at det er for få bøker med griffer! Så sant, så sant. Og takk skal du ha!"

I can look around and not feel so bad that I’m improving yes, but I haven’t got a big enough ego to know I’m advanced yet especially when I look at some of the work like your griffen!!! Awesome! Keep it up! I will check back. Let me know when you post more!!! Jan Torjus Ødeskaug replies: "Sure, and thanks! "
