"Angels on Earth - Yearning" by Rachel Danielle Toguchi

A story contemplation I've been working on...

Back story is basiclaly that Angels came to earth on a mission to mate with humans so that their half angel offspring could better the world with their unatural abilities. Once the child was born, they would return to the heavens, leaving the child with their other parent, or if that were not possible, a half-angel foster mother.

However, every half angel child born would forever be drawn to the water, as it falls directly from the sky. These restless children will only ever be half happy, as their hearts yearn for the sky above all else, but they don't have the wings to get there.

This is the first story in a long time I have actually WANTED to write..so hopefully it will work out.

Pictured below is Amelia, a half-angel child. Although she looks graceful, she often trips because she is forever looking up. Her ability is purely empathetic, being able to sense completely and fully the feelings of others around her. Needless to say, she enjoys her solitude.
