| 17 Nov 2006 | Simi Landau *Muffin Queen* | Loading...Very pretty! I like the textures of the shirt, and the details of her hair and wings are very nice. My favorite part is honestly the nose, and I can't say why. Congrats on Mod's Choice! It's nice to have unexpected surprises sometimes. | |
| 17 Nov 2006 | Nekawaii | Loading...Great!!! She reminds me of the woman who appeared in The Last Unicorn... don't really remember her name... Rachel Danielle Toguchi replies: "The Lady Amalthea? or the other one? because I used to try over and over again to draw Amalthea...and failed...if you thik this looks like her, then its strangely ironic. haha!" | |
| 17 Nov 2006 | Ararat M. Afalava | Loading...I think that this pic rocks!Seriously.I guess the mods picked it for its simplicity*i kno, nobody asked me. But im just sayin*.Lovely picture, lovely indeed. My favorite part of it is her head, beautifully exicuted, seriously. Her hair, her eyes, her nose, lips, ear, face,expression....Everything!I dont care wat anybody says, this picture(und its artist)deserves the mods choice. My hat off to you, fellow artist. Rata Rachel Danielle Toguchi replies: "Thank you! I'm so happy that you like her!" | |
| 17 Nov 2006 | AnonymousE | Loading...Yeah, right, everyone now would spit on the only person who said the truth about this piece: it's average, and it is funny to see such a mod's choice. But I have to agree. In fact, it's so average that deserves tho mod's choice for "the most mediocre mediocrity" - the subject, composition, execution - everything. But that's ok, I know that the artist have nothing to do with his/her picture being chosen to represent the best quality of Elfwood artwork today. It just shows the level of aesthetic perception of the mods... and that's VERY SAD Rachel Danielle Toguchi replies: "I have to admit I was surprised as well that this piece recieved Mod's choice, and I'm sorry that you don't like it, or feel that I deserved it. I can respect that, but there is no need to be condescending or snide about ANYONE's artwork. And IF you feel the need to criticize, please do it constructively. it would be much appreciated, also, if you would leave your name with the note so I might see your artwork as well. Thank you for expressing your oppinion, even if you may have done so in a rude manner." | |
| 18 Nov 2006 | Nekawaii | Loading...Nope, the other one. I think her name was Molly. Your picture is like a younger version of her, specially because of the hair. I think the style is very similar, and I sure like it! | |
| 19 Nov 2006 | Anonymous | Loading...Is it just me or does she look anorexic? | |
| 20 Nov 2006 | Lei | Loading...I don't care what anyone thinks about her - I like her muchly! I like the fact that to me, she looks kind of lost..she looks as if she's possibly searching for something..

| 21 Nov 2006 | Nikki H. Carleton | Loading...There's something...off...about her wings, like they're 2-dimensional compared to the rest of the pic. Maybe try shading the back wing a bit more...other than that, I lurves it! The hair and the funky corset-thingie kick some serious butt. | |
| 23 Nov 2006 | Anonymoose | Loading...I have to say, what I really like about this piece....is the style. You've got a unique handle on the lines, very clean yet lively. It's got an illustrative quality that draws the viewer in. Very impressive! Rachel Danielle Toguchi replies: "Thank you so much! I hope to one day be an illustrator... one day...when I've improved...Thanks again!" | |
