| 9 Jun 2004 | Nery Mejicano III | First off. I hate you cause your so good. Secondly Is most of this stuff done with pen the shaded/colored with prismacolor markers? Stevie Van Bronkhorst replies: "Firstly, I'm not sure if that's a compliment, but thank...you. Secondly, it's mostly tombo brush-pens, calligraphy markers, and sharpies." | |
| 9 Jun 2004 | Adele Lorienne Sessler | Heya, welcome to Elfwood! Some art here I've never seen *browses* Stevie Van Bronkhorst replies: "*dies*" | |
| 14 Jun 2004 | Nery Mejicano III | It was a compliment. All your work looks so good and strangely effortless. As if you just wave your pen around and make wonderful art. Oh and im now trying those tombo brush pens. Posted a quick sketch with them. Not sure if I like them or not. Also, Is tombo the only ones you like cause I found some other brands laying around in a desk. Is there any notable differences? Stevie Van Bronkhorst replies: "I use the dual-tip Tombos because they're there, and I'm impecunious. Good quality, two tip choices. 'Bout it. If you find something better, do let me know. " | |
| 24 Jun 2004 | Anonymous | Hey, you rock. Can't believe where you've gone with your art since I was hanging out with you and the family. It's amazing and very impressive. Did you ever look up my friend and comic artist Lin in Seattle? Get my email from Eileen if you'd like me to put you in contact. He'd love to see your work and maybe connect you with others. xoxoannieo Stevie Van Bronkhorst replies: "Yes, please! Long time no see." | |
| 25 Jun 2004 | Anonymous | I found another duel tipped brush pen. Made by Marvy. They seem to lay down a lot more pigment than the tombos do which is good for shading large areas cause its less streaky. A warning: the colors come out 2 to 3 shades darker than the color of the cap. Stevie Van Bronkhorst replies: "Grand." | |
| 23 Aug 2004 | Rebel | You invited me to your website to see your work (we were discussing shovels at the time). I am impressed. There is some true talent here. P.S. I won't give away your secret. Stevie Van Bronkhorst replies: "Huh? What? Who? Uh....thank...you? " | |
| 2 Feb 2005 | TomStewart | Hey! This is pretty good, but where are the capes and tights? How 'bout a mask at least?! | |
| 29 Jul 2005 | JJ | Wow! I love your art. Ever since I meet you at the Emerald City ComiCon I have been a fan of yours. Please don't stop your art or your comic book. By the way I was able to read all of it the other day and I give three thumbs up. I borrowed one from a friend (I gave it back). | |
