A scetch of an amazon queen. I'm going to colored it someday... maybe... =)

Nice illustration. She reminds me of a 1960's go-go girl....

The pose of this is great, and quite a difficult position to draw right. You've got her bends and curves done very well. Nice pic!

:-) Leif Eriksson replies: "Thank you.. =)"

I'm not trying to act superior here, because I'm only 14 and you're much older than me, but I believe you accept constructive criticism, so here we go:...

Perfect body... if only this woman is a feminine one. Since she is the Amazone Queen, I suppose a muscly, athletic, man-like body is better for her.
What I mean with that kind of body includes:
1) Muscles which can be seen rather clearly in her arms and legs, especially the one(s) that supports the body's weight (in this case, her left arm).
2) 'Tougher' face.
3) Smaller breasts. Well, all female athletes are like that, aren't they?
4) Attacking or protecting pose. This is optional, of course, but please consider that Amazonian women are the tribe's army and leaders as well, so those two poses may fit them better. But I've got to say that the current pose is great, I mean it's a big relief to see that the queen still has a feminine side in her soul, don't you think? (^_^)

:-) Leif Eriksson replies: "Thanks for you comment! I totally agree with your comments. I didn't put in much thought into this one, I just wanted to do the pose. Maybe she got lacy after her election to queen and is just laying around being pampered all the time... =) She's let her self go.. =)"

Go go Amazon Queen, I like it! The lines are purposeful and flow well together. I like the concept, who knows maybe Amazons can appreciate a lovely woman to lead them. After all it's a changing world and what better way to control men?

:-) Leif Eriksson replies: "Thanks! =)"

Very lovely pic you have here. I'd love to see this done with a lot more line variety, even ifit is a sketch. Good job though.

:-) Leif Eriksson replies: "Thx, my original idea was to color it, therefore so few lines, but I never got around to finnish it.. 8"

Very well done line art Leif.I just popped by to see if you had any new work up yet but seeing that you don't I figured I would just drop a comment on this beauty.I can only hope some new work is on the way!!

:-) Leif Eriksson replies: "Hi, thanks for stopping by again. It's been awhile since I visited Elfwood, to long really. I have two new pictures that are in a ticket for the moment, awaiting moderation. Thx for the comment."

Not bad. I'd be interested to see what it looks like when colored. If you're going to keep it as line art, I think I'd add a line or two hinting at where the knees are.

I've noticed that you seem to like high/spike heels. Take this with a grain of salt, since I have a bias against them, but the spike heels here don't strike me as being either practical or sexy. I think something more riding-boots-like would work better for this drawing.

But again: Not bad, either as a piece of line art, or as something to be colorized someday.

:-) Leif Eriksson replies: "Thanks for your comment. It will remain as line art since I screwed up the coloring, ruining the whole thing. =)"

I think your line work is great, you just might want to develop body shapes a bit. It wouldn't be a bad idea to study some antomy, her legs are a little short, in my opinion. But this is your stuff, and from what I can see, its fab. Keep it up 12

:-) Leif Eriksson replies: "Thank you."

The picture is amazing! She is very soft and feminine.

7 Leif Eriksson replies: "Thanks! She might be to soft to be an amazone though.."

She needs a better costume to be an amazon queen. Like you said before, maybe she’s let herself go since she got elected. =P The anatomy is very good, though, all except the hand on our right/her left.

I’d love to see another version of this, sometime! ^_^
