Did you know the circle of protection is actually a giant sphere cast on the psychic realm before a spell or ritual? Anyway again this is an amazing picture. And, as does everyone else, i want to see more so keep creating please 2

Funny ! Didn't you know that the pentagram is the symbol of the Devil ? lol
So how can there be protection ?

:-) Leif Eriksson replies: "Actually, that is a mistaken belief that it’s a symbol of the devil. Black magicians who summons evil demons from hell had to protect them selves from the demon, who probably would have slaughtered them as soon as they appeared. The pentagram got associated with the devil and black magic this way, since people of the black arts wore them. There’s of course no such thing as demons, black arts and summoning of evil spirits… =) Today, the pentagram is usually associated with Satanists who don’t know why they wear it. (That is to protect them from evil not calibrate it) The catholic church is also responsible for twisting the original meaning of many symbols, like the trident carried by Poseidon/Neptune (ancient gods of Greece and Rome) is today associated with the devil. They did this to miss credit other religions then there own. This also happened to the pentagram symbol. Sorry about the history lesson. =) "

Thanks for the lesson. I'm glad you pointed this out. But not only Satanists were them, so do other Pagans like Wiccans. I myself wear one for both protection and as a symbol of my faith.

But enough of that. Great stuff Leif. I love it all. But, this is my favorite. Now the letters in the book look like Theban, but then don't. Hmm. Anywho, I like the fire that surrounds her.

:-) Leif Eriksson replies: "Thanks. I'm glad you like it. I wasn't so sure what Theban was so I searched for it on Google and found the Theban alphabet. Funny how my random scribbling came to look so similar. Especially the Theban letter of C. Weird. I couldn’t figure out where the alphabet came from, is it old Egyptian, or something else? "

That's a very evocative picture (sorry for the pun)...I would add a little remark about the pentagram: for the Wicca it symbolizes the four elements and the spirit (which is the fifth)and is usually drawn as a "star" to represent the control of the spirit above the others. The satanists use it upside down to symbolize the supremacy of the material body over spirit.
Anyway the picture is very beautiful and well drawn...I wish I were able to use photoshop like that!

:-) Leif Eriksson replies: "Thank you! I didn't know that, thanks for your input."

The pentagram wont protect anyone from me as I'm a Devil In Disguise! (Sorry, I couldn't resist).

Again a lovely drawing, you do know the female anatomy very well indeed. Or at least you do know how to draw it! Her white dress goes so well with the other colors, it gives an interesting contrast.

12 Leif Eriksson replies: "I find it helpfull to have a real interest in what you are trying to draw... 12"
