'We'll attack at dawn', he said.

Sometimes I like to do something simple that only takes a few minutes but looks good.

I agree with the above commenters, the simplicity makes it outstanding! A really good job here. The silhouette concept works well ^_^

It looks very good!! The silhouettes are great... yes, the title fits perfectly with this pic ^-^

Wow, this is really cool! 8D
I love how simple it is yet you can completely tell what it is! The colour behind the shillouette adds to the feeling of a battle, and the lighting gives the impression that the figures are approaching.

:-) Leif Eriksson replies: "I like doing simple things. Thanks for commenting so kindly!"

I recon you should draw more armoured ladies... but thats just me.
I like this phalanx of pike armed troops. Although a few more in the background would indicate an extra few ranks. The line is a little thin here!

1 Leif Eriksson replies: "Good point, I hadn’t thought of that. I think originally it was supposed to be the first wing over a hill. But you’re right, some extra pike heads would make it look better. Thanks for your comment! (And more armoured ladies are most likely on the way as we speak )"

This does look good. The dynamics of the forms and the pattern of the light make it seem as though it has much more depth than there really is. Not to mention, silhuettes are just fun in general, no?

:-) Leif Eriksson replies: "They sure are, and a lot easier to do if you’re lazy like me =)"

Yes, sometimes the simplest of pictures can be the most effectively done. But there’s something very interesting about the dead-center of the picture, some kind of blurred action, like something is about to happen.

:-) Leif Eriksson replies: "Thanks. The calm before the storm perhaps"

I like pics like this where the lack of detail actually enhances the mood of the scene. The sunset/sunrise effect of the lighting is quite dramatic. Very nice!

:-) Leif Eriksson replies: "Thank you! Simple seems to work for me."

This is very expressive, I like the background thing, and the shades.

:-) Leif Eriksson replies: "Thank you"
