| 14 Nov 2004 | Victor L. Castro | Loading...Love the colours, and the Aquanymph as well, pastels again, correct? Although it's been 3 years now, I'm so sorry to read about the passing of Kim Van Gampelaere the person responsible for your having created this painting, she was very talented, and the loss of a loved one is never an easy thing to deal with, to state the obvious. Steph Steph Salt replies: "Yes a very sad loss, indeed. Thank you Victor, she was very talented. It isn't pastels, I used Photoshop for it, my scanner isn't compatable with my new computer, and I can't afford a new one just yet. Well my son has one for me, but he is still waiting for a part replacement to arrive." | |
| 23 Apr 2005 | Anonymous | Loading...This is great, very impresive, very sexy. extremely well done. A ftting tribute to kim. Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you " | |

| 5 Jul 2005 | Jennifer Russo | Loading...I almost cried when I saw this. It's so beautiful that you (and some other EW members) are keeping aquanimphs alive. In a way, you're keeping their creator's spirit alive with them. (= Steph Steph Salt replies: "I'm sorry that I am so slow replying to your message Jennifer, it really is apreciated *Hugs!*I am just so forgetful. If I don't reply to a message straight away, it's gone, out of my head!" | |
| 14 Jul 2005 | Wendy Bittnerová | Loading...Hi Steph! I was wondering if you would allow me to add this beautiful Aquanymph to the Bifrost memorial project for Kim. Here's a link to the project, so that you may take a look: http://bifrostfantasy.com/v-web/gallery/albums.php?set_albumListPage=2 Steph Steph Salt replies: "Yes of course you can Wendy. It's awful when a young talented life is snatched away, and all these Aquanymphs are a great memorial to her memory. *Hugs!*" | |
| 22 Aug 2005 | Reine des Seins | Loading...I'm afraid this is actually better than any of the aquinymphs kim did in her short life. This is an exceedingly sexy, eye catching and realistic (as realistic as a humanoid squid can be) work of art. So, there is just one question: Whats with the starfish on her breasts? By the way, i love this. Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you Reine, I am pleased that you like it. But it wasn't my intention to out do her versions, but to do my best for her memory. The starfish are there because I wanted a contrasting colour in the picture, and I wanted something other than the normal shells that are used. I just like being different " | |
| 1 Sep 2005 | Lord Golthimere | Loading...I think Reine des Seins ment "Why are there starfish on her breasts?" Personally I love the pose. It is really sexy. This is one of the most beatiful women in all of elfwood. Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you and I'm afraid that you get the same answer I have no fear of leaving breasts bare, but I wanted some colour to contrast the rather large amount of turquous and blue. So giving her matching jewelry and bra was the way I chose to do it. Thank you for the very high honour you've just given me, and I accept it in Kimjes memory. *Hugs!*" | |
| 20 Sep 2006 | A90moose | Loading...You should add this the Kimjte tour. Sadly, I ran across her gallery to late to compliment her, but was drawn to her site by a picture not unlike your own (and her site is how I found out about you). This is one of the best I've seen because it portays the Aquanimp the way she described it on her site instead of taking liberaties with color and other details. If she were alive to O.K it, deviations wouldn't matter so much, but to truely honor and remember her, I think accuracy is a must. | |
| 25 Nov 2006 | GuesssWho | Loading...It's Scylla! Cool! Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you, but I wish you wouldn't hide your identity, are you afraid of something?" | |
