This Elf has the power to raise the wind, and today she feels like having a storm.
Soft pastels on velour paper.

That's so beautiful! I love it, the colours are so rich, and the hair! i love her hair!! I love the way you've blended the colours so nicely, i can never do that when i use pastels....lovely ^_^. (in case you didn't notice, i love it ^_^)

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you evee 2 I have always loved pastels, so I have had plenty of practice with them. I still get caught out though. I've just atte, mpted a misty waterfall, and that is very hard to do in pastels."

I like blowing stuff up too, I like this picture too.

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you Anthony 2"

It doesn't really look stormy, more like a sunset. The coloring is done nicely.

Gannon, saying that the so-called "doctor" can only draw stick figures is an insult to stick figures. Allow me to guess... are Bojangles and Pritchett the same fellow? The comment by Bojangles is a little too complimentary to the other.

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "Or they could be friends, though what kind of friends I can just imagine, but very pathetic all the same.Thank you for your comment tweedldee 1"

Beautiful work... I love her beautiful golden hair.

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you Kristen 2"

I know, I hate him too. It's funny---he finds enough courage to criticize other people's work, but if he actually drew something himself it'd probably be something like a stick figure.

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "Don't hate him Gannon, but feel pity for him instead, his life must be really narrow and pathetic.Thank you for your support."

Wow that is really great... It makes me wish I was an artist rather than a writer

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "You can do both if you are willing to take time to learn Robert, but I know what you mean. I can't write no matter how much I try.Thank you for your lovely comment. 2"

Hey I see I've never commented on this lovely picture. I thought I had scrolled out of sight.

I only can say from the minute I saw this one, I was mesmerized by the wonderful atmosphere of this painting.
Great imagintion, great colours and composition!

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you Anneke. You know you would love our hills, if you could only get over here for a visit, but I bet your pocket is as empty as mine at the moment? "

Yep, I love this picture and the concept of blowing up a storm! It is one of those pictures that makes you inpired to draw something really inspiring!!! And I love storms!
