	A young elf floats gently moving about in her dreams, amongst unformed fairies, two pop into life and she softly reaches for one.. Updated 26th October. This is going to a new home as part of an art swop with a friend in the US.

31 Oct 2004	Lelia Abbott	Loading... first comment MC Hammer pants-dance Wow, this is wonderfully expressive! I adore the colors you've used, and the elf figure, especially her pose, is captivating. I like how you made the unformed fairies look kinda like budding flowers (was that intentional?), and I like the "sunburst" effect of the blues that spread around her. Gosh, this is just all-around lovely. Great watercolor skills; it's a media I wish I could master. Anyways, wonderful work! Keep it up! Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you Lelia, only the baclkground is in watercolour though and even some of the darker blue is pencil. The elf is drawn in coloured pencils and so is the detail in the two little fairies. I just love your comment, it's given me a lovely feeling. I don't think I need a larger hat size not yet any way but keep it up and I will "

Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you Yolaron, I am still learning watercolours myself, this was done the easy way. Lots of water and colour just splattered over all but the area where I had masked for the elf. I just wasn't experienced enought to paint her in watercolours so she was painted with pencils instead "
