I have a fun little art programme called Artrage that gives you the feeling that your painting with real pencils, oils, marker or pastels, and this little dragon is one of my experimental drawings in the pencil mode.

It's a small picture because I am forgetting to resize the canvas up from what it naturally proves, but it does allow for pictures larger.

I'm using him as an avatar, so hands of him folks, he's mine :D

He's so cute, and the water is really good done. I would like to have that program too, it sounds fun. Where did you find it? Anyway, this is a great picture! Keep it up! 2

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you Malin 1I will try and find the link for you."

Thats really a very nice program, I've tried it too and it has beautiful tools. No wonder your sweet dragon looks handpainted, it's a great avatar, Steph.

Have you tried the palette knife already? It does wonderful things to the oil paint. 1

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you Anneke, have tried the palette knife with the other tools? I tried it will all of them, it acts like a smdge tool, though I'm not sure I like the effect with the pencil? 2 Sorry I forgot to answer your other message! :2"

Very cute. I like that pastels on coloured paper look. Quite believable as real media, something I'm was trying to do with my paint programmes.

Helloooo, Steph's avatar. ^^

He's really cute, but so much of your work could do better as an avatar. I really think you should use the... what was it called again? The Nessie-type thing. That'd make an awesome avvy. (=

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "LOL!At the moment I like him as my avatar, but I do get bored after a while. I do have other avatars I can use though, but I will keep Nessie in mind 2 Thank you for the idea Jennifer 2"

Ha! A dragon! And an active artist...How perfect...

Steph, hi there, I was wondering if you'd mind me using this in my coursework as an example of dragon art...? It will be shown in my research and with full credit to you of course...Cheers!

Anyway, I love the innocenet look you have on this guy here, and his slender anatomy. Perhaps there could be more to the background though? Hehe, looks like he could just perch all day on your shoulder. Lovely! Obviously, I love it. =)

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you Emma. If you make sure that you add my name to the picture and make sure that it is plain that I am the artist...Then yes you may use him in your work. 2Thank you for your sugestions. Have you seen the dragon on my snowmans shoulder 1"

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you Emma :x"
