In the original story I read of Aladin there is a magic ring as well as a lamp, and with a little prompting this was painted for an ArtDual friendly contest based on The Arabian Nights or The Tales From The Thousand And One Nights. If the Genie looks worried then she has a right to as Aading just asked her to get his lamp and the Princess back lol

Steph, your entry for the contest is so beautiful, my jaw literally dropped when I saw it!! The colours are wonderfully vibrant and very well chosen and I love the concept.

I hadn't thought of it that this would fit in the Elfwood theme btw. I might submit mine too. 2)))

Long time no see! really like the ring! think the colour intensity of the finger could be a little higher, but the ring shines right out at us.. must have been hard to make the Genie! Nice one!
