Its a warm late Autumn day and they are outside listening to the old hermit reading from his book of legends. I think that this picture would be great for a childrens story, anyone want to write a story based on this picture???

Wow! That tree on the right is incredible! The whole picture is very well done, but I love that tree! Too cool!

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "Hi Kelly thank you, scribbling in the margins of a school book was good practice 2 I've drawn trees since I was 13! A loonng time ago! LOL!"

I love the way you coloured this. I especially like the way you coloured the dragon's scales and the tree.

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you for your visit and your lovely coment Ingrid, isn't it wonderful being a part of Elfwood 2"

Yes it is, Elfwoods awesome. So many friendly people here. (glomps all the nice elfwood people).

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "And glomps Ingrid back! Does glomp mean a hug or a kiss? I mean a big hug to everyone and Thomas especially 1"

Glomp means hug, I think. Hopefully it does, otherwise I've been kissing a buncha strangers, ewww.

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "Erg! Yuck! What a thought, you just never know what you might catch LOL!"

Even young dragons have to learn somewhere! I really like this picture especially the trees, the texture on them is excellent. The whole picture is fantastic you've done a great job with the colours!

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you Owen, I'm pleased that you like my version of a story telling. 1"

I'd love to make a story out of this picture. I'd make it like "the old man sat down the young heir by his dragon and opened the old book he was carring with him. The old man said" Listen young heir of mine. Listen closely for your future in these tales I shall tell you. For these may haunt you but will give you courage in your life." Oh! that's really good! I'm inspired now.

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thats wonderful Jessica, but I thought of her more as his ward than heir, but if thats how you want to write one please feel free 2I'm slowly getting through your comments, sorry I'm so slow but my latest version of my IP is very slow! It seems to take ages for an e-mail to open or a window to change 8"

very nice and lively looking! I like how you colored the dragon and how you managed to keep good detail in the small figures. And I really like your trees!

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you Mike, though I diod get very frustraited with the old man. If you look hard at the brickwork you will notice a very glaring error as well. 2I am thinking of redoing this picture sometime soon, I think it deserves better. 2I just love that dragon, and my tree, thats one of the things I used to draw during a boring lesson at school LOL!Happy New Year Mike."

:-) Steph Steph Salt replies: "I wonder what is dragon speak for triplet tail? 2Thank you for the interesting comment, I love it when my pictures prompt this kind of comment 1I hope to redo this picture sometime very soon, look back in a few months time and see if I actually did LOL! 2"

This picture is great. I love the coloring in it. And about someone wrighting a story about it... well if I study it long enough I know something would come up. :-P I love wrighting storys even though I'm not the greatest but this picture COULD very well inspire me to do so. I love it!

29 Steph Steph Salt replies: "Thank you River, you'll let me have a read of it, if you do manage to write one though? 2"

This is such a beautiful picture!!! I like the lighting and the shadows, as well as the colours. I especially like the red of the dragon's scales and wings! And the trees look almost real. ^.^

I could try to think up a story for this 10
