SciFi and Fantasy Art Psi the Wanderer by Steve Schmitt


	This is a depiction of Psi, a peaceful, wandering fighter-mage. The drawing was requested by Cy, who seems to be making a collection of different interpretations and drawings of this character. This drawing was developed from a quick unreferenced pencil sketch, so I didn't expect it to work very well. To my surprise, I very much like the results.

I hate saying this only because it's really quite mean, but spare us any more torture and stick to what your good at, continue painting scenery and castles and such because your fantastic at that but, well your not so hot at people. :.) meant in the best possible way! Steve Schmitt replies: "Hi annonymous, I understand your critique. Believe me, I realize that figure drawing is not my strongpoint! It never has been. It's for precisely that reason that I _DO_ draw and paint the human figure, as that is the area that is in most need of improvement."
24 Nov 2003	Lindsey Sayles	Loading... Cool, i really like this. I love the landscape and the colours, it looks really mystical. The figure is actually really good, just that her head is a bit smaller than it should be to be proportioned to her body, well at least thats what i think.
