I mean, so what if silicon is only a practical basis for life on the surface of suns? Who are we to say that molten rock and toxic vapors aren't suitable food sources? Really people, get over yourselves. Go spread you love to all our silicon brethren! Stanton F. Fink replies: "At least with the Metal Gel's case, it finds carbon-based lifeforms to be utterly repugnant."
