Christine M. Houser was nice enough to color this fellow just in time for me to post it! Many happy squishies to you, Christine~!

When the Green Empress was alive, according to the author of The Ebon Shadows, she kept a vast menagerie of creatures of an almost infinite array of descriptions, collected from throughout her empire. Among her favorites was a most ferocious, and terrible fanged beast, of whom the Green Empress refered to as her 'precious darling.' Surprisingly, no actual description of it while it was still alive survives. Most sages, the author excluded, believe that it was a tiger, or cave lion that one of her dukes captured for her.

'Precious Darling' lived for several decades, well after the Green Empress' descent into Undeath. When it finally expired, the Green Empress wept for her pet, shedding many crimson tears. Then, she reanimated it, making it among the very first Undead she created herself.

You know, if you copy this, put it in paint, and invert the colours, you get a creature with dark green/black bones on a pus-yellow background, spewing its icky guts. i don't know if I like this version or the 'inverted-paint' one better.

Try it!

I'm not saying I do this to all your artworks or anything (which I don't) but I have just discovered the wonders of Paint! *bows* I'm not much of a techie, it appears. 10

I found another one of these behind some cardboard boxes in my garage (there's no car in my garage - just lots of carboard boxes). I didn't know how to reanimate it so i burried it in my garden - and a walnut tree grew up where i planted it ... ~12

This sounds like a fairy tale gone wrong and the monster went wrong with the bringing back thing, I think. It was probably cute before.
