DOOOOD - I finally got a Deviant Art gallery to supplement Elfwood. Since we're limited to only a hundred SF/F pictures here, I needed a place to post up some of the older stuff. Come visit! I could spend hours -- hours -- in your gallery and not be halfway through with it. You've created this moody, unsettling world with these...moody...unsettling...creatures.br>;gt;I've already been through a handful of pieces you've done, and I can help but think it would be wholly interesting to write about these creatures, this world of seeming discord that you have created.r>t;It's all so creative and original, and drawn very well. Colored or not, there is a certain flair to most of your works.gt;r>You'll probably see me again within the next few days as I peek around a bit more.

Stanton F. Fink replies: "I've been meaning to update this gallery for quite some time, both with colored pictures, as well as new monsters and updated versions of my favorites...I'll see if I have time later this week to click the submit button."

Hmmm. I see that like myself, you refuse to withdraw your conscious imprint from this virtual realm known as Elfwood. Indeed, Elfwood is the ideal receptacle for our creativity and knowledge, and like a community of barnacles we all live happily, crammed next to eachother in these little square galleries in cyberspace.
As a matter of fact, if I were to delete my gallery, then, I would feel like I was actually destroying a living part of myself, and that wouldn't be cool.
Yep, like a jelly fish or a sponge, I let my gallery sit in the waters of cyberspace and capture comments like little bits and pieces of plankton, nourishing my lonely, socially
starved ego.
I was just going over some of my old comments in my gallery and decided to enter your domain via one of them.
So here I am.
Cool.
Plus, I find it interesting that other elfwooders from days past seem to be converging upon this location at approximately the same time, as if a fluctuation in the space time continuum were occuring here, drawing us in like some poweful magnetic force.

That would be neat. Maybe you could notify me when that happens so that I can examine it.

Fink replies: "You're still alive?Wow...All kidding aside, although I've been devoting almost all of my time to my Deviant Art gallery; I refuse to delete my Elfwood gallery...If only because I keep promising myself that I'm going to update this one, too.I updated it, once before, but then it got eaten by that crash earlier this year.Anyhow, I'll let you known when I do press the "UPDATE" button, and perhaps we could get together and do another art trade, too."

After digging through many of these, I'm quite surprised that there isn't a little Mod star lurking on one of them somewhere. It's a nice change from much of the cutesy art floating around out there.

Though you monsters aren't my thing I found them interesting and quite colorful. I like the bio you did on each one. Would love to see the kind of world or worlds the exist in. Great work.

i like your creativity. it’s intruging. some of these sound like something that would make great creatures in stories. i hope u have plenty more ideas in the future
