What are those tree things? "Go read the story and you'll find out" < I admire anyone able to draw those spaceships/buildings and things that require perspective, I've always wanted to do book illustrations (this was after reading the Dragonlance books and seeing the work of Larry Elmore). Anyhoo, excellent job on the coloring, greyscale is harder to do than color at times. I love the way you do clouds. And a tip, since you are new, go to the extranet and putter around until you find the option to e-mail all of your comments to you, and you can also reply to comments on the extranet instead of making a new comment box. If that makes sense. < Alan Gutierrez replies: "Thanks for the comment!I did finally figure out the comment thing ^^ I came from Deviant Art where there was instant replies and all including lots of cool emoticons. I also did lots of work on avatars and animated GIFs. Actually, my experience is that B&W art's a snap. I'm red-green color blind, and back at DevArt, girls (only males are color blind) would constantly berate me for too much red or green. Even now, I get ribbed for it-once I mentioned it (the blindness) they practally when hunting for mistakes! Anyway B&W art is fun for me since I don't have to be concerned about the color problems."

I love black and white photographs, which is what the picture reminds me of. =) It has a sort of grace about it, more so than I think it would be if colored, though I'm sure you'd do an amazing job on that too! I never knew much about colored blindness until I took a psychology course at college. I knew it was only in males, but I didn't realize specifically what colors were involved. (I believe there are other forms of color blindness for other colors, correct?) Anyway, now that I know this about you, I find your art to be even more incredible than it already is! It always makes me feel wonderful when people, despite any ailments, do what they cherish most. Now I feel inspired to work harder on my artwork! =D lol. Also, don't worry about those nitpicky ninnies that belittle you or your artwork. Thank you for such inspiration! -Chrissy-Lee
