But in this pic the best part that I think you did is the knee. For me those are hard. Not to make them pointy or square, but just right. Love it. Keep it up I luv seeing characters portrad like this. Alan Gutierrez replies: "Thanks for the comment! Yes, knees are hard-so are hands and feet." | |

| 24 Oct 2004 | | Loading...Lighting? LOL. These guys mean they like the jugs. And I don't mean the potion jars. *giggles* I'm so bad. Wonderful job, BTW. These are all wodnerful, This is my favorite of the villains you've drawn so far, going through your gallery. Alan Gutierrez replies: "LOL, never quite saw the jugs that way-I did this last haloween, for a treat ^^" | |
| 24 Oct 2004 | Rachel S. Jennings | Loading...Eeeeew! Slimy! lol. Have you considered adding a tiny hint (and i mean i hint, too much would detract some of the drama and presence in this picture) of a background in here? Just a thought. Alan Gutierrez replies: "Thanks, but it's simply intended as a fast portrait. As I've said elsewhere, this is nothing more that fanart, not a candidate for the Louvre Gallery or the Smithsonian." | |
| 9 Jan 2005 | Oni Salem_Darkwitch | Loading...How do you get your pics to look so real? Alan Gutierrez replies: "Thanks for the comment! I do use Poser 4 in my reference-that's a figure drawing program for poses. Sometimes I just superimpose the model right on an existing work, then blend it to match the style already there (the original painting). It also takes a lot of experience." | |
| 29 May 2005 | Satarune | Loading...Your probably sick of my comments that are very similar but this is very cool. Have you ever thought that Kaolinite and Eudial might be sisters? | |
| 30 Jun 2005 | Vickie A. Weathers | Loading...This one is pretty good too. I don't like it as much as the others. I feel like it doesn't capture her character as well as the others. BTW her name is Kaori Knight. Not trying to gripe, just inform. I am a Sailor Moon geek...sorry... ^_^ | |

| 30 Oct 2005 | Sabrina Schurse | Loading...Wow, you really do the most awesome Sailormoon-fanart I have ever seen. Of course there are many great anime-style sailormoon-fanarts, but yours are so unique, because you use your own style. I have really, really, really never seen a fanart of Kaolinite that great, I wonder IF I have ever seen ANY fanart of her...Her hair is so wonderful!! I love the red....and I love Kaolinite. ^-^She's my favourite witch...I especially like her after her "return", in her black dress. O.O But this interpretation is also really great. Alan Gutierrez replies: "Thanks once again! Much of the fanart I do these days is commission driven, so It's as much the client's wish as mine as for subject matter. There are 2 other Kaolinite pieces on my website, in the Pin-Up sub gallery. " | |
| 22 Dec 2007 | Anonymous | Loading...Awesome! Kaolinite was my favorite villain during the Pure Heart season. She was just so EASY to hate!!! And she was so incredibly MEAN to poor little Hotaru. (That always made me so mad, because I identified so much with Sailor Saturn... just like her, I was very mentally disturbed in my early teenage years. And just like Saturn, I turned out all right in the end, thank God.) | |
