Tag As FavoriteComment		From King of Fighters. This was originally done for someone who wanted me to do a commissioned piece of Mai, and then reneged on the deal. I'd done a sketch on Photoshop, but went ahead for my own purposes-later it was used as a mascot art piece for A-Kon in Dallas, TX in 2004, where I was Artist Guest of Honor. It was renamed Ai-Ko, with some additions and became my most successful work in anime fanart ever, as a T-shirt for A-Kon 15, rivaling my biggest sales in book cover art. Photoshop 6 w/Wacom Tablet.

That has got to be one of the few fan arts of Mai I’ve seen that acknowledge those lovely breasts of hers need support, and I think it’s about 50 times sexier than her game costume. Actually, it honestly looks like something a hot woman who could kick ass would wear.
